How is the Plustive API priced?
Pricing scales with your volume across three tiers. The more you transact, the lower your effective cost on data, airtime and bills, and the deeper your airtime discount. You can see the exact price you pay for each plan from the catalog endpoint before you buy, and all amounts are in kobo.
Is there a setup fee or monthly subscription?
No. Plustive is prepaid, not subscription-based — there is no platform or setup fee. You fund a wallet and pay the cost of each top-up or bill as you go. New accounts also receive a small starter credit to test real transactions before going live.
Do I pay a fee per API call?
No. There is no per-call or per-transaction platform fee. You pay only the cost of the airtime, data or bill itself, debited from your prepaid wallet — so your spend is capped by what you have funded.
How much does it cost to buy data or airtime?
Your cost is set per plan and falls as your volume tier rises. Query the catalog (for example GET /api/v1/plans) to see the exact price you pay for each plan, then set your own retail margin on top. Airtime discounts deepen as you grow.
Does my price improve as I grow?
Yes. Volume tiers lower your effective cost on data, airtime and bills automatically as your transaction volume rises, and your airtime discount deepens — there is nothing to renegotiate manually for standard tiers.
